Welcome
The Tuckahoe Union Free School District is located approximately 25 minutes north of midtown Manhattan in a small, suburban community adjacent to the Village of Bronxville, New York. The Tuckahoe Schools service the Town of Eastchester in the communities of Tuckahoe, Bronxville Manor, and Chester Heights, totaling in enrollment of approximately 1,100 students grades K-12. This small school setting has fostered a unique educational environment with the added personal touch of a small town within the largest metropolitan area in the United States. The strength that comes from within a small town, such as Tuckahoe, has been tested and trusted many times; a strong pride is shared by all that call Tuckahoe home.

BOE Letter to Parents 4-12
We would like to thank the parents who expressed their concerns regarding our budget proposal. We have put together the following letter to inform the community of the process we went through over the past year to come to these recommendations. The letter explains in detail why we believe the implementation of these recommendations will result in a stronger program across the school district for all students. Important Changes to District Calendar
The Tuckahoe School District calendar for 2011-12 has been recently updated as of March 15, 2012. Please read the notice from the Superintendent by clicking here.
Changes include: Superintendent Conference Days originally scheduled on Monday, May 14, 2012 and Monday, May 21, 2012 have moved to Monday, April 30 and Friday, May 4, 2012. Therefore, all students will attend a full day of classes on Monday, May 14 and Monday, May 21, 2012. There will be no classes on Monday, April 30, 2012 and Friday, May 4, 2012.
William E. Cottle Parent/Teacher Conference Days have changed from Thursday, March 22, 2012 and Friday, March 23, 2012 to Wednesday, May 2, 2012 and Thursday, May 3, 2012. All students will report to school for full days of school on March 22 and March 23. WEC students will dismiss at 11AM for Parent/Teacher Conferences on May 2 and 3.
