The preschool meets every day from 12:15 p.m. until 2:45 p.m.

Please note: Even though our location is at ICS, the Cottle Preschool classes follow the Tuckahoe Union-Free School District (TUFSD) calendar, not the ICS school calendar. Please refer to the TUFSD calendar for school holidays and dates for winter and spring breaks.

Registration Information:
Families must apply to the Tuckahoe Preschool through the office of the Superintendent. The Secretary will take the application for the lottery process conducted in January of each school year. Parents are notified at the conclusion of the application process in early February. Families will be put on a waiting list in case openings occur.

Pre-School Application 2012-2013:
The application for 2012-13 pre-school is available for download by clicking here on this link.  (Adobe Acrobat required.)  This application will be available online and at the District office until January 27, 2012. The application is due to the District office at 65 Siwanoy Boulevard, Eastchester, NY 10709 no later than Friday, January 27, 2012.

Attendance Policy:
(In accordance with District Attendance Policy 5100) students are to attend school every day as long as they are well. It is important to attend school regularly and to be on time. Students will develop better socially, establish relationships with their teachers, and begin to take responsibility for their learning; they will have greater school success. Attendance will be taken and recorded every day. It is the parent's responsibility to notify the Tuckahoe Preschool of the student's absence and to provide a written excuse upon the student's return to school. This is considered an excused absence.

Withdrawal Policy:
Students with more than 18 unexcused absences will be withdrawn from the Program. Those families on the waiting list will then be notified of the openings.
