Kindergarten Registration | School Registration Grades 1 to 12
- Deed, co-op shares, property tax bill, or a lease
(valid thru June 2011) - Con Edison bill, water bill, phonw bill or current income tax return.
- New York State Driver’s License with your current address, current income tax return with printed current address label.
- Child's Birth Certificate—must be original with raised seal.
- Child's most recent report card.
- Child's Immunization Record including date of last physical exam.
New York State requires that all students be immunized against polio, measles, rubella (German measles), mumps, and diptheria. Students will be excluded from school until proof of these immunizations is provided.

Registration of new students entering the Tuckahoe Schools is by appointment only at the District Office, 65 Siwanoy Boulevard, Eastchester, NY 10709. Please call 914-337-6600 x1262 to set up an appointment.

Registration for Kindergarten students for September 2012 will be held in *Wednesday, January 18, and **Thursday, January 19, 2012. Children who will be five years of age by December 1, 2012 are eligible to attend Kindergarten.
Parents/Legal Guardians are urged to register children according to the following schedule, utilizing the first letter of the child’s last name.

from 9:00 A.M.—11:30 A.M. (A-L)
**Thursday, January 19, 2012
from 9:00 A.M.—11:30 A.M. (M-Z)
Registration takes place at the William E. Cottle School,
2 Siwanoy Blvd., Eastchester, NY in the auditorium.
Required Documents for Kindergarten Registration
Parents/Legal Guardians are required to present the following documents at registration time:
Three (3) Proofs of Residence
Parents/Guardians must bring originals and copies of the following:
1.) Property tax bill, deed, co-op shares, OR lease (valid thru June 2013)
AND
Parents/Guardians must bring originals and copies of the following:

AND
Parents/Guardians must bring originals and copies of the following:
3.) New York State Driver’s License, NYS Registration, OR NYS Insurance Card with your current address.
AND

Please call Mrs. Linn at 337-5376, extension 1273 to have a Kindergarten packet mailed to you before registration.
Out-of-District Transportation for 2012-13
If your child will be attending an out-of-district, non-public school in 2012-2013, and he/she will need school bus service, or public transportation services, the applications are due to the District office by April 1, 2012:
- Application for out-of-district SCHOOL BUS service
- Application for out-of-district PUBLIC transportation service
PARENTS- Time to Update your K12Alert Email and Text-to-cell Accounts!
The TUFSD updates the telephone alert system at the start of each school year. But, parents create and maintain their own K12 Alert email and text-to-cell accounts. Please update your account yearly to reflect your child(ren)’s current grade and school (WEC, TMS, THS). Otherwise, you will not get the text-to-cell and email notifications intended.
